At Gilead, we are working to combat life-threatening diseases by developing medicines that represent improvements over existing options. An important aspect of these efforts is making sure patients who need our medicines receive them worldwide, particularly in resource-limited countries.

Gilead's International Access Operations team coordinates all aspects of ensuring Gilead therapeutics for HIV/AIDS treatment are accessible, on a sustainable basis, to patients and health care providers in developing countries. As part of this work, the team oversees the drug manufacturing, product registrations, distribution arrangements, medical education activities and ongoing stakeholder engagement necessary to achieve this goal.
