Gilead Sciences to Release Fourth Quarter and Year End 2005 Financial Results on Monday, January 30, 2006; Conference Call and Webcast to Follow

(Nasdaq:GILD) announced today that its fourth quarter and year end 2005 financial results will be released on Monday, January 30, 2005, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. At 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, Gilead will webcast a conference call live on the company's internet site.
