Emergency Disaster Product Replacement

Gilead Sciences is committed to the well-being of people impacted by recent natural disasters. Extreme weather events can threaten health systems and interrupt access to care. In an effort to provide continued access to Gilead's medicines in in the continental U.S. and territories, we have implemented emergency disaster procedures through our Patient Support Programs.

People who reside in disaster-affected areas and do not have access to their Gilead medication may be eligible to receive a one-time 30-day supply of their prescribed Gilead medication at no cost. In addition, Gilead is prepared to work with health care providers and pharmacies to help offer prescribed Gilead medications to patients in need.

Following is an outline of the process:

• Request for assistance may be initiated by the patient or a provider by contacting the applicable Gilead Patient Support Program (please see contact information below)
• The program will collect patient demographic information and confirm that the patient resides in an area affected by a recent weather disaster
• Once approved, patients requiring HIV and HBV medications will be issued a 30-day supply of the requested medication
  • Patients can obtain the medication by providing the BIN and PCN number provided by the Gilead Patient Support Program to a local pharmacy
• For HCV medications as well as Cayston, Letairis, Ranexa and Zydelig, patients will be pre-qualified for a 30-day supply of the requested medication. Upon request, Theracom Specialty Pharmacy will ship a 30-day supply of medication directly to the patient's desired address.
• Patients will be asked to contact the respective Gilead Patient Support Program if further assistance is needed
