Gilead Sciences to Release Third Quarter 2004 Financial Results on Thursday, October 21, 2004; Conference Call and Webcast to Follow

(Nasdaq:GILD) announced today that its third quarter 2004 financial results will be released on Thursday, October 21, 2004, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
