Gilead Sciences to Release Fourth Quarter and Year End 2004 Financial Results on Thursday, January 27, 2005; Conference Call and Webcast to Follow

FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 21, 2005--Gilead Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq:GILD) announced today that its fourth quarter and year end 2004 financial results will be released on Thursday, January 27, 2005, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. At 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time Gilead will webcast a conference call live on the company's internet site. The call will be led by John Martin, PhD, President and Chief Executive Officer, John Milligan, PhD, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Kevin Young, Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations.
