Gilead Sciences to Release Second Quarter 2005 Financial Results on Tuesday, July 19, 2005; Conference Call and Webcast to Follow

(Nasdaq:GILD) announced today that its second quarter 2005 financial results will be released on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, after the close of the U.S. Financial Markets. At 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, Gilead will host a conference call and live webcast on the company's internet site.
