When a parent is living with metastatic breast cancer, the whole family is affected. For parents and loved ones, it can be hard to see how the illness touches the children – and even harder to find the right words or manage the emotions that follow.

Moments of magic in a jar

The Adventure Jar was created to support families in these conversations. It tells the story of a family learning to navigate life after the mother is diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Through change, challenge and uncertainty, they find that magical moments still exist – in the time they share together.

Support for the whole family

No family should have to face the challenges of metastatic breast cancer alone. The Adventure Jar can help parents start meaningful conversations with their young children and remind everyone to find magic in the moments that still exist, even when life changes.
