Gilead is dedicated to developing innovative medicines for life-threatening illnesses – and we recognize that it takes more than medicine to address challenges people and communities face.
That’s why we work with organizations around the world to launch programs that help improve access to care by eliminating barriers and advancing education.
Immunotherapy explained to Belgian patients and caregivers
Our Belgian team has developed a new brochure tool addressed to patients and their closed ones who would like to know more about immunotherapy, these therapies that use the immune system to battle cancer. This brochure has been created with the support of haematologists, a nurse and the Belgian Hematology Society patient committee.
Whether you have blood cancer, a lymphoma or you know a member of your family or a friend who is suffering from cancer, discover the brochure that can help you understand better what these innovative treatments are, how they function and can help you start a conversation with a physician.
Download the NL version of the brochure on this link or the FR version on this link.
For more information about the symptoms of lymphoma, the diagnosis and available treatments, visit our dedicated webpage for patients and caregivers about living with lymphoma here.
HIV Community Support
Gilead has supported various community and patient organizations. We are grateful and proud to collaborate on different projects with important stakeholders that work tirelessly to improve care for people living with HIV in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. This includes projects such as Here We Are, our co-created magazine to empower people with HIV and to highlight that everything is possible with HIV, our podcast serie ‘zorgeloos leven met hiv’ that aims at informing about HIV and inspiring the listeners and our World Aids Day collaborative campaign.
