Our Areas of Giving
At Gilead, our giving focuses on improving outcomes for the people and communities we serve, particularly those facing the greatest burden of disease and barriers to care. Guided by three goals: expanding impact, connecting systems, and sustaining population health, we invest in and partner with communities through targeted funding and active engagement to support organizations working directly with the people they serve. By strengthening systems, addressing barriers to care, and supporting the conditions that shape health over time, we help reach people often left out of traditional systems and improve outcomes for people and communities.
Corporate Giving
Gilead partners with communities facing the greatest burden of disease, working directly with organizations that serve disproportionately affected populations. Through targeted investments and active engagement, we expand awareness, strengthen engagement, and connect people to prevention services and early intervention, helping reach those often left out of traditional systems and improve outcomes over time.
We also fund sponsorships both internationally and within the U.S., supporting programs aligned with our Giving @ Gilead priority areas.
Gilead Foundation
The Gilead Foundation is dedicated to giving in the United States, with a special focus on the communities we call home.
Through our Creating Possible Fund, Giving Together, and Building Community programs, we advance our funding priorities through grants and internal employee programs.

We support high-impact continuing medical education programs that expand the knowledge and skills of healthcare providers. There are two funding pathways: Independent Medical Education (IMED) and Medical-Scientific.
Research Funding Programs
Gilead funds externally-sponsored research, including community-based participatory research, and has a Research Scholars Program across our therapeutic areas of virology, oncology and inflammation.
