Being part of the leadership team for GAIN’s Asia chapter, A+ GAIN, has been especially fulfilling. Contributing to initiatives and events that promote cultural awareness, professional development and cross-functional collaboration has allowed me to support not just operational excellence, but also a more connected and inclusive workplace. Giving Together – Hepatitis B Foundation

Hepatitis B is the #1 health disparity for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI). AAPIs carry 50% of chronic hepatitis B burden in the U.S. Through the Giving Together Portal, Gilead has raised over $15,000 for the Hepatitis B Foundation in 2025.

Cultural Celebrations

The GAIN community encompasses many Asian identities, cultures and experiences, and delivers year-round programming designed to reflect and support the breadth of its membership. Past events include traditional lion dances during Lunar New Year celebrations, Diwali observances honoring the Festival of Lights through cultural storytelling, shared traditions and community connection, Fireside Chats with prominent guest speakers, film screenings and panel discussions featuring senior leaders from around the world.
